When you throw a stone into a large and deep lake, there is hardly a splash and a faint sound. It is as if the stone just merges with the water and there is barely any evidence of something occuring. However, when you throw a stone into a shallow puddle, there is a giant splash and loud noise. It is very obvious that something is occuring. This applies directly to the essence of ninjutsu.

It contains information on everything from philosophy to weapons to tactics to astrology.
The copy that you find here was scanned from photocopies made of the copy in the national archives in Japan. They have been assembled into PDF for ease of viewing. Please note that these are large files, and can take a long time to download. If you prefer not to deal with the long download, copies are available on CD.
